Account Manager – Full-Time (Charleston, SC)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships via excellent customer service
  • Deliver consistent and timely responses, follow-through, and follow-up in response to client requests
  • Maintain a clear picture of client’s business in consideration of future credit increases
  • Help clients with basic product related questions and troubleshoot scenarios
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and the Capital Business Finance underwriting team
  • Follow up with clients to gather additional information and ask clarifying questions
  • You can multi-task and love helping our cllients succeed
  • Perform invoice verifications and/or debtor notifications
  • Update Capital Business Finance systems in accordance with operational guidelines
  • Be a client advocate when called upon, providing Capital Business Finance decision makers with additional data points
  • Stay alert for suspicious client behavior Minimum Requirements
  • Experience as an Account Manager is preferred
  • Financial acumen and strong ethics
  • Dependable, positive, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through

  • Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in unfamiliar situations
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate with keyboarding skills and competency with Microsoft Office

Regional Vice Presidents (DC Area, Nashville, Chattanooga, Columbus OH, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Denver)

As an important member of the Sales Leadership Team this position is responsible for business development in an identified geographic market. While acting as the name and face of Capital Business Finance, the Regional Vice President is expected to lead business development in the area by maintaining and growing Capital Business Finance presence in the local community.

Because of the extensive relationships in the local market that this position requires, the ideal candidate would join the Capital Business Finance team with an active and growing network in their local banking and business community.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and grow customer relationships through business development calls and active participation in community organizations
  • Participate in corporate strategic planning initiatives
  • Responsible for having some prior knowledge of commercial banking and finance products
Minimum Requirements
  • Five or more years of proven production in the Factoring industry.
  • Ability to source organic (not from brokers) client opportunities from a developed network of known referral partners.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field
  • Prior professional experience in the financial services industry, business development or a related field.
  • Active involvement in the community
  • Basic understanding of the financial services industry and commercial lending
  • Excellent business development and prospecting skills with ability to build strong partner relationships
  • Outstanding communication, organization and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of local industries and current economic conditions
  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM, and PowerPoint

Inside Sales/Sales Development Representative (Atlanta, GA)

Capital Business Finance is growing and hiring and has an immediate need for inside sales team members. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for 20-30 hours per week, up to full time but not less than 10.

What you’ll be doing:

Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for generating leads through calling on prospect accounts and qualifying sales opportunities.

Capital Business Finance wants you on the team if you:

  • Enjoy being on the phone and scheduling meetings with prospective clients
  • Can be a team player in a high-energy sales team environment
  • Demonstrate a high degree of motivation, professionalism, and competence to work in a fast-pace team environment
  • Are proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (voicemail, email, MS Office)

What we’re looking for:

  • You have one to two years of experience in Lead Generation, Business Development, or Direct Sales
  • You’re resourceful and creative with a keen capacity to identify new ways of reaching prospects
  • You love cold calling (seriously) and scheduling meetings with prospective clients
  • You have polished and professional written and oral communication skills
  • You have the ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
  • You have college-level education
